Claims Examiner CV Template

Claims examiners work in life and health insurance companies where their main function is to review claims of individuals against the life and health insurance companies.  They can also be called reviewers and they are primarily responsible for giving approval or rejection to any claims made by clients, their relatives, or other individuals.  Claims examiners may also help in arranging settlements when there is conflict or any misunderstanding regarding the insurance policies.  However, their work is different from claims adjusters who work directly with clients and go to the homes of clients.  Claims examiners are office-based and perform majority of their tasks via telephone or by sending mail.  They must be meticulous and be able to carefully verify facts that customers present when filing claims.
