The main task of automobile mechanics is to overhaul and repair all kinds of vehicles. The input provided them about the vehicle on initial inspection is very crucial for the service engineer. This information about the condition and status of the automobile helps service engineers in accurate diagnosis and provide solutions accordingly. Some of the minor repairs are taken up my mechanics directly without involving service engineers. Mechanics reports to senior technician. After the initial inspection of the vehicle based on mechanics assessment, if the problem needs more detailed investigation, the complaint is forwarded to service engineers.
