Orthodontists are dentists that work in a more specialized area. They are concerned with making the teeth straight and in line with the use of braces or retainers. They also perform oral surgery, reconstruction and therapy. A lot of orthodontists work alone, some work with partners but other still prefer to work for a hospital or a dental institution. Since more and more people are getting conscious about the way they look, orthodontists will always have a slot in the local community.
