A Ramp Agent is responsible for expediting the arrival and departure of aircrafts by providing the essential services on the ground pertinent to loading, unloading, cleaning, and other general servicing requirements. A ramp agent needs to be an aircraft mechanics to be able to assist the aircraft coming into the gate. When the need arises, they also have to assist in pushing the airplane out of the gate at certain distance. Helping with baggage loading and unloading is also among the many tasks that Ramp agents need to perform.
