Companies usually hire training specialist to train employees on specific areas of technical knowledge or to give on the job training. The training specialist plans, organizes a wide range of training activities for new hires as well as older employees. The training specialist is required to assess the training needs of a company and come up with developmental plans which address the needs of the company. They are also required to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and modify them if they require improvement.
